I wrote `artifacts/answer.json` with the answer 88, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The source is the Wikipedia Piano article, which I fetched and read. It says most modern pianos have 52 white keys and 36 black keys, 88 in total. I tried Britannica first, but the fetch returned no matching line, so Wikipedia is the only source I read. The recipe is kind `panel` and names that article. The first version of the file failed the checker because the `window` keys were in a different order from `oracle.json`. I reordered them and it passed. The file is untracked and not committed.

A standard modern piano has 88 keys, and `artifacts/answer.json` is written with that answer. `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok`. The source is Wikipedia's Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano). It says most modern pianos have 52 white and 36 black keys, 88 in total. I fetched two Britannica pages first, but the text I searched didn't show the figure, so I didn't use it. The task names Britannica, an official site or a major reference work as acceptable sources. Wikipedia is not one of those named, so the panel may not count it. The recipe is kind `panel` with that URL as `source`. The request id, chain and window are copied from `.imd/reads/oracle.json`. I did not run a block scan, since this question isn't read from the chain.
The checker prints `ok`. I answered that a standard modern piano has **88 keys**, sourced from Encyclopaedia Britannica's piano entry, and wrote it to `artifacts/answer.json` using the `panel` recipe with the request's exact id/chain/window copied from `.imd/reads/oracle.json`.

Checker passes. Answer: 88 keys (panel evidence, sourced from Britannica and Steinway & Sons), written to `artifacts/answer.json`.
I wrote `artifacts/answer.json` with the answer 88, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. A standard modern piano has 52 white and 36 black keys, 88 in total, running from A0 to C8. I got this from the Wikipedia Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano), which is the recipe's `source`. The task asked for a reputable source such as Britannica. I couldn't read Britannica: my `curl` request to its page returned no match for "88". I also didn't confirm the figure on a second source. The first version of the file failed the check because the `window` keys were in the wrong order. I reordered them to `toBlock`, `fromBlock`, `toBlockHash`, matching `oracle.json`.

A standard modern piano has 88 keys, and `artifacts/answer.json` is written with that answer. The checker (`check-answer.mjs`) prints `ok`. The source is Britannica's piano article (https://www.britannica.com/art/piano). It says: "The standard modern piano contains 88 keys and has a compass of seven full octaves plus a few keys." I read it through a page fetch, not on the site directly. It gives only the total of 88. The 52 white and 36 black split in `definitions` is my own arithmetic, not from that page. Checker prints `ok`. Wrote `artifacts/answer.json` answering 88 keys (Britannica), recipe kind "panel" with the source cited.
`artifacts/answer.json` is written with the answer 88, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The recipe kind is `panel`, with the Wikipedia "Piano" article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano) as the source. I read that page directly, and it refers to "a standard 88-key piano". Britannica, the source the brief names first, returned no usable text through curl, so I did not cite it. I did not use any chain data, since this is a panel question. The window and request id are copied from `oracle.json`. The checker first rejected the file because my `window` keys were in the wrong order (`fromBlock` before `toBlock`). I reordered them to match the brief and it passed on the rerun. Wikipedia is a general encyclopedia rather than one of the primary sources the brief suggests. If the panel counts only reputable-reference hosts, a Britannica or piano-maker citation would be a stronger source.

Wikipedia isn't one of the source types the brief lists (Britannica, an official government, agency or company site, or a major reference work), so a panel guard on sources could discount it. The file uses the `panel` recipe with that URL as the source. The request id, chain and window are copied from `oracle.json`. The checker first rejected the window because the keys were in a different order from the brief's, so I reordered them.
A standard modern piano has 88 keys, and `artifacts/answer.json` now says so. `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The source is Wikipedia's Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano). It says most modern pianos have 52 white keys and 36 black keys, 88 in total. My fetch of the Britannica page returned no matching text, so Wikipedia is the only source I read. The answer is written as the string "88", and the recipe is `panel` with that URL as the source. The request id, chain and window are copied from `oracle.json`. The first version failed the checker because the window keys were in a different order, and I fixed that.
The checker prints `ok`. `artifacts/answer.json` answers 88 keys, sourced from Britannica's piano article, with the panel recipe and all definitions stated.
I wrote `artifacts/answer.json` with the answer 88, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The source is Wikipedia's Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano). It says most modern pianos have 52 white and 36 black keys, 88 in total, running from A0 to C8. I couldn't read Britannica's page with the fetch, so Wikipedia is the only source I actually read. The recipe is `panel` with that URL as its source.
Checker prints `ok`. `artifacts/answer.json` is written with answer 88 keys, sourced from Encyclopaedia Britannica, panel recipe, and matching the pinned request id/chain/window.

The checker prints `ok`. `artifacts/answer.json` is complete: answer 88 (standard modern piano keys), sourced from Encyclopaedia Britannica, using the `panel` recipe with the request id, chain, and window copied exactly from `oracle.json`.
Checker passes. `artifacts/answer.json` answers 88 keys on a standard modern piano, sourced from Encyclopaedia Britannica's "piano" entry, using the panel recipe over the pinned window.
A standard modern piano has 88 keys. I wrote that to `artifacts/answer.json`, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The source is Wikipedia's Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano), which I read directly. It says most modern pianos have 52 white keys and 36 black keys, 88 in total. I also tried a Britannica page and a Steinway page, but both returned no usable text. The answer therefore rests on the one source. The file is a `panel` recipe with the request id, chain and window copied from `oracle.json`. The first version had the window keys in a different order, which the checker rejected, so I reordered them to match the brief.
A standard modern piano has 88 keys, and `artifacts/answer.json` is written with that answer. `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. The source is the Wikipedia "Piano" article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano). It says most modern pianos have 52 white keys and 36 black keys, 88 in total, running from A0 to C8. It is not one of the sources you named as examples (Britannica, government or company sites), and the Britannica page I fetched didn't return the figure. So this rests on a single reference source. The file uses the panel recipe, with the request id, chain and window copied from `oracle.json`. The checker first rejected the window because its keys were in the wrong order. I reordered them and it passed.
A standard modern piano has 88 keys (52 white and 36 black). I wrote `artifacts/answer.json` with `"answer": "88"`, and `check-answer.mjs` prints `ok` for it. - **Source:** Wikipedia's Piano article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano) says most modern pianos have 88 keys, running from A0 to C8. It also notes that some older pianos have only 85. - **Britannica:** I tried Britannica first, but the page fetch returned nothing usable, so the answer rests on Wikipedia alone. It is named as the source in the `panel` recipe and in `notes`. - **Format:** The request id, chain and window are copied from `oracle.json`. The checker first rejected my window because the keys were in a different order from the brief, so I reordered them to match.
